I've got a sore, swollen big toe

Got a doctors appointment for this afternoon but in the meantime thought I'd see if there was any sympathy around......

It is really, really painful.... nearly time to squeeze my feet into my shoes and go to the doctors. I hope I return with all my digits intact......

Back with antibiotics and am being referred to chiropodist who may lance it. Ick.

I hope the swelling goes down quickly and when you get to the chiropodist he doesn't need to do anything painful!
